New Jersey High School Soccer - The Pilgrim Academy held off by Gloucester County Christian

In Tuesday's league contest, the Gloucester County Christian Conquerors (Sewell, NJ) soccer team edged the visiting The Pilgrim Academy Pioneers (Egg Harbor City, NJ), by a tally of 2-1.

Next, the Conquerors face the Calvary Academy Warrior (Lakewood, NJ) in a Tri-State Christian contest, on Thursday, October 10. Gloucester County Christian will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record.

The Pioneers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Atlantic Christian (Egg Harbor Township, NJ). The Cougars enter the Tri-State Christian contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Atlantic Christian Doane Academy (Burlington, NJ), 2-2, in a non-league contest.
