Next, the Mustangs face the Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 10. Plum will attempt to advance on its 13-0 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 10-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA).

The Spartans (6-11) will now prepare for their game against Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Gators enter the non-league game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Gateway by Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA), 4-2, in a non-league game.
