The Redskins (13-0) will now prepare for their battle against Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV). The Big Blacks enter the non-league battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Point Pleasant was overwhelmed by Huntington (Huntington, WV), 4-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Patriots confront the John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 10. Parkersburg South will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Monarchs go into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV).
