Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Millville Quakers (Millville, PA) and the visiting South Williamsport Mountaineers (South Williamsport, PA), saw Millville's soccer squad hold off South Williamsport by a count of 2-1.

The Quakers (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Montgomery (Montgomery, PA). The Red Raiders enter the Mid-Penn D4 battle with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Montgomery nudged Sullivan County (Laporte, PA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

With the loss, South Williamsport moves to 4-12 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Muncy (Muncy, PA) to encounter the Indians in a Mid-Penn D4 challenge on Thursday, October 10. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Muncy lost 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Benton (Benton, PA)
