Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA) and the visiting North Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Pine-Richland's soccer squad hold off North Hills by a count of 2-1.

The Rams (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Butler (Butler, PA). The Golden Tornado enter the WPIAL AAAA 1 battle with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, Butler was edged by Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA), 7-3, in a league battle.

Next up, the Indians confront the Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA) in a WPIAL AAAA 1 battle, on Thursday, October 10. North Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 11-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to North Allegheny (Wexford, PA).
