Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) and the visiting Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME), saw Penobscot Valley's soccer squad knock off Woodland by a count of 2-0.

The Howlers (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Pandas enter the Class D - North battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Lee Academy by Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME), 8-6, in a league battle.

Next up, the Dragons confront the Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME) in a Class D - North battle, on Thursday, October 10. Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Royals enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Narraguagus (Harrington, ME).
