The (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Springdale (Springdale, PA). The Dynamos enter the WPIAL A 3 battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Springdale was overwhelmed by Trinity Christian (Pittsburgh, PA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Riverview Raiders (Oakmont, PA) in a WPIAL A 3 battle, on Thursday, October 10. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 9-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Jeannette (Jeannette, PA).
