In Tuesday's league test, the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Portal Panthers (Portal, GA), by a count of 12-4.

Next, the Redskins meet the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, October 9. Bryan County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Blue Tide go into the test with a 11-10 record after their 10-1 league win over Jenkins (Savannah, GA).

The Panthers (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Metter (Metter, GA). The Tigers go into the 1A D-II Region 3 test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Metter was routed by Toombs County (Lyons, GA), 7-0, in a non-league test.
