With the triumph, Lumpkin County improves its record to 19-10 on the year. The Indians host Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA) to play the Spartans in a 3A Region 6 game on Thursday, October 10. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 6-17. Greater Atlanta Christian lost 4-0 in their recent non-league game against Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA)

The War Eagles now hold a 3-24 record. They play next when they host Cedar Shoals for a non-league game on Thursday, October 10. Chestatee will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 13-4 non-league loss to Towns County (Hiawassee, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-21.
