The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Putnam City North Panthers (Oklahoma City, OK) and the visiting El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK), observed Putnam City North's softball team get by El Reno by a tally of 1-0.

The Panthers (9-24) will now prepare for their bout against Enid (Enid, OK). The Plainsmen go into the non-league bout with a 23-11 record. In their last bout, Enid tipped Ponca City (Ponca City, OK), 4-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Wednesday, October 9. El Reno will attempt to advance on its 14-13 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 23-9 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK).
