The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA) and the host Flint River Academy Wildcats (Woodbury, GA), observed Southland Academy's softball team get by Flint River Academy by a tally of 8-1.

The Raiders (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA). The Wildcats go into the GIAA Class A & AA District 3 challenge with a 10-11 record. In their last challenge, Crisp Academy held off Westwood (Camilla, GA), 10-2, in a league challenge.
