Next, the Eagles play the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Holden will attempt to upgrade on its 18-12 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 23-1 record after their 15-0 league win over Lexington (Lexington, MO).

The Spartans (0-21) will now prepare for their challenge against Knob Noster (Knob Noster, MO). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Knob Noster overcame Lafayette County (Higginsville, MO), 10-0, in a league contest.
