North Carolina High School Volleyball - Albemarle crushed by North Stanly

In Tuesday's league match, the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the host Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), by a final score of 3-0.

Next up, the Comets confront the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A match, on Thursday, October 10. North Stanly will attempt to advance on its 18-6 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 13-7 record after their 3-0 league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC).

The Bulldogs (5-12) will now prepare for their match against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals enter the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A match with a 11-8 record. In their last match, Union Academy gained a win over Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 3-2, in a league match.
