Nebraska High School Volleyball - Burwell over Anselmo-Merna

The Burwell Longhorns volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Anselmo-Merna Coyotes to 0 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now have a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 10. Burwell will play a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Madison (Madison, NE). The Chargers record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Anselmo-Merna drops to 9-9 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Elba (Elba, NE) to play the Bluejays in a D2 District 7 outing on Thursday, October 10. The Bluejays come into the outing with a record of 3-14. Elba lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Harvard (Harvard, NE)
