North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ledford overwhelmed by Asheboro

The Asheboro Blue Comets topped the visiting Ledford Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Blue Comets face the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A game, on Thursday, October 10. Asheboro will attempt to advance on its 16-5 season record. The Timberwolves go into the game with a 8-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Panthers (4-13) will now prepare for their game against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights go into the Mid-Piedmont 3A game with a 8-13 record. In their last game, North Davidson gained a win over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
