Next up, the Bobcats confront the Floyd Central Jaguars (Eastern, KY) in a District 58 game, on Wednesday, October 9. Betsy Layne will attempt to advance on its 12-5 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 9-13 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY).

The Pirates (5-14) will now prepare for their game against Jenkins (Jenkins, KY). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Jenkins was dropped by Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY), 3-1, in a non-league game.
