Michigan High School Volleyball - Big Rapids overwhelmed by Newaygo

Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Newaygo improves its record to 19-23 on the season. The Lions host Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI) to face the Warriors in a Central State test on Tuesday, October 15. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 5-10. Chippewa Hills won 3-2 in their recent league test against Lakeview (Lakeview, MI)

The Cardinals now own a 5-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grant for a Central State test on Tuesday, October 15. Big Rapids will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Reed City (Reed City, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 13-19.
