In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Middlesex Chargers volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines.

The Chargers (17-2) will now prepare for their challenge against King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA). The Royal Tigers come into the Tidewater challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, King & Queen Central edged Charles City (Charles City, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines play the West Point Pointers (West Point, VA) in a Tidewater challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Carver College and Career Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Pointers come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Mathews (Mathews, VA).
