In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Orange County Fighting Hornets.

The Black Knights (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos enter the Jefferson challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Fluvanna County beat Monticello (Charlottesville, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Hornets meet the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Orange County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).
