The Mid-Carolina Rebels volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Chester Cyclones to 0 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rebels now have a 14-7 record. They play next when they host Fairfield Central for a AA Region 2 outing on Wednesday, October 9. Mid-Carolina will play a Griffins team coming off a 3-2 league win over Eau Claire (Columbia, SC). The Griffins record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Chester drops to 3-11 on the campaign. The Cyclones host York Prep (Rock Hill, SC) to play the Patriots in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 9. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 4-7. York Prep lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC)
