In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Columbia Christian Crusaders volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Lafayette County Cougars.

The Crusaders (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Emerson (Emerson, AR). The Pirates enter the 2A 6 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Emerson was beaten by Taylor (Taylor, AR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Spring Hill Bears (Hope, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Lafayette County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Garrett Memorial Christian (Hope, AR).
