In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Cotulla Cowboys volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Poteet Aggies.

The Cowboys (9-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Hondo (Hondo, TX). The Owls come into the 3A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 25-7 record. In their last challenge, Hondo was nudged by Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Aggies play the Lytle Pirates (Lytle, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Poteet will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 13-18 record after their 3-2 league win over Dilley (Dilley, TX).
