The Islanders (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Zephyrs enter the non-league contest with a 23-3 record. In their last contest, Mahtomedi notched a victory over Tartan (Oakdale, MN), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Teddies meet the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks (New Hope, MN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 10. Roosevelt will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 5-18 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN).
