The Purnell Swett Rams prevailed the visiting Douglas Byrd Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Rams confront the Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A game, on Thursday, October 10. Purnell Swett will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Pirates enter the game with a 12-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC).
