The Newell Irrigators edged the visiting Dupree Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Irrigators confront the Harding County Ranchers (Buffalo, SD) in a B Region 8 game, on Thursday, October 10. Newell will attempt to advance on its 10-11 season record. The Ranchers go into the game with a 20-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD).
The Tigers (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Jones County (Murdo, SD). The Coyotes go into the non-league game with a 10-8 record. In their last game, Jones County was edged by Kadoka (Kadoka, SD), 3-0, in a league game.
