The Griffins now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mid-Carolina for a AA Region 2 outing on Wednesday, October 9. Fairfield Central will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 league win over Eau Claire (Columbia, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Eau Claire drops to 1-10 on the campaign. The Shamrocks travel to Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC) to clash with the Rebels in a AA Region 2 outing on Thursday, October 10.
