In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Fillmore Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Houghton Academy Panthers.

The Eagles (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bolivar-Richburg (Bolivar, NY). The Wolverines come into the Section 5 Allegany County challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Bolivar-Richburg beat Genesee Valley (Belmont, NY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Genesee Valley Jaguars (Belmont, NY) in a Section 5 Allegany County challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Houghton Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Keshequa (Nunda, NY).
