The Valley Springs Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Flippin Bobcats to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Alpena (Alpena, AR). The Leopards enter the non-league challenge with a 0-13 record. In their last challenge, Alpena was beaten by Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR) in a 3A 2 challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Flippin will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Bearkatz enter the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to Salem (Salem, AR).
