The Wolverines now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Superior for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 15. Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 8-19.

With the loss, Grand Rapids moves to 15-10 on the season. The Thunderhawks host Cloquet (Cloquet, MN) to face the Lumberjacks in a Lake Superior test on Thursday, October 10.
