The Harlingen Cardinals edged the host Los Fresnos Falcons volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Cardinals face the San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 32 game, on Saturday, October 12. Harlingen will attempt to advance on its 20-12 season record. The Greyhounds go into the game with a 5-17 record after their 3-2 league loss to Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX).

The Falcons (18-10) will now prepare for their game against Hanna (Brownsville, TX). The Golden Eagles go into the 6A Region IV District 32 game with a 14-9 record. In their last game, Hanna was edged by Harlingen (Harlingen, TX), 3-2, in a league game.
