In Tuesday's league challenge, the host South Columbus Stallions volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Heide Trask Titans.

The Stallions (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Patriots enter the Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge with a 3-14 record. In their last challenge, Pender was beaten by Whiteville (Whiteville, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Titans meet the East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Heide Trask will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 3-0 league win over East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC).
