Illinois High School Volleyball - Oblong tips Hutsonville/Palestine

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Oblong Panthers (Oblong, IL) and the host Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers (Palestine, IL), observed Oblong's volleyball team hold off Hutsonville/Palestine by a tally of 2-1.

The Panthers (21-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Clay (Louisville, IL). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 12-9 record.

Next, the Tigers meet the Cisne Runnin' Lions (Cisne, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 12. Hutsonville/Palestine will attempt to upgrade on its 9-18 season record. The Runnin' Lions enter the contest with a 4-18 record after their 2-1 league win over Patoka (Patoka, IL).
