Illinois High School Volleyball - Salt Fork tips Iroquois West

The Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) volleyball held off the host Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL), 2-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Storm now possess a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph-Ogden for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 10. Salt Fork will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 11-13.

With the loss, Iroquois West drops to 1-20 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL) to clash with the Cornjerkers in a Vermilion Valley bout on Thursday, October 10. The Cornjerkers come into the bout with a record of 5-15. Hoopeston lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL)
