The Tartans (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA). The Breakers enter the Pacific Coast contest with a 5-23 record. In their last contest, Laguna Beach was knocked off by Foothill (Santa Ana, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vaqueros battle the Rosary Academy Royals (Fullerton, CA) in a Pacific Coast contest, on Wednesday, October 9. Irvine will attempt to move on its 3-14 season record. The Royals enter the contest with a 16-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA).
