In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Jefferson J-Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Rockford East E-Rabs.

The J-Hawks (11-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Hononegah (Rockton, IL). The Indians enter the Northern Illinois NIC-10 challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Hononegah beat Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the E-Rabs meet the Boylan Catholic Titans (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Rockford East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-19 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 16-8 record after their 2-0 league win over Freeport (Freeport, IL).
