In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lauderdale County Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the West Limestone Wildcats.

The Tigers (36-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Saraland (Saraland, AL). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 31-4 record. In their last challenge, Saraland got by Pelham (Pelham, AL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Athens Golden Eagles (Athens, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. West Limestone will attempt to upgrade on its 14-13 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 27-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL).
