The Manchester Lancers topped the visiting L.C. Bird Skyhawks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Lancers confront the Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) in a Dominion game, on Thursday, October 10. Manchester will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Indians go into the game with a 11-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Richmond City School of the Arts (Richmond, VA).
The Skyhawks (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Huguenot (Richmond, VA). The Falcons go into the Dominion game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Huguenot was dropped by James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
