In Tuesday's league match, the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) volleyball squad overcame the host North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A match, on Thursday, October 10. Lexington will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 3-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to East Davidson (Thomasville, NC).

The Cavaliers (2-12) will now prepare for their match against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Hornets enter the Central Carolina 1A/2A match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, Salisbury notched a victory over South Davidson (Denton, NC), 3-0, in a league match.
