In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Sibley East Wolverines volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Maple River Eagles.
The Wolverines (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN). The Titans come into the Minnesota River challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] beat Fairmont (Fairmont, MN), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Kindred Vikings (Kindred, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Maple River will attempt to upgrade on its 16-14 season record.
