With the win, West Shamokin improves its record to 14-2 on the season. The Wolves travel to Homer-Center (Homer City, PA) to encounter the Wildcats in a Heritage battle on Thursday, October 10. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 8-13. Homer-Center won 1-0 in their recent non-league battle against Geibel Catholic (Connellsville, PA)

The Stingers now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host DuBois for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 9.
