In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Newport Grizzlies volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the St. George's Dragons.

The Grizzlies (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Priest River (Priest River, ID). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Priest River edged Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the Reardan Screaming Eagles (Reardan, WA) in a 2B Bi-County challenge, on Thursday, October 10. St. George's will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Screaming Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA).
