Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) and the host Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA), observed Northumberland's volleyball squad triumph over Rappahannock by a final score of 3-1.
Next up, the Indians confront the Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) in a Northern Neck game, on Thursday, October 10. Northumberland will attempt to advance on its 11-5 season record. The Red Devils enter the game with a 8-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA).
The Raiders (9-8) will now prepare for their game against Essex (Tappahannock, VA). The Trojans enter the Northern Neck game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Essex was dropped by Westmoreland (Montross, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
