With the win, Panther Valley improves its record to 16-3 on the season. The Panthers host Pottsville (Pottsville, PA) to face the Crimson Tide in a Schuylkill County 1 test on Thursday, October 10. The Crimson Tide go into the test with a record of 15-4. Pottsville won 3-0 in their recent league test against North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA)

The Blue Raiders now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mahanoy Area for a Schuylkill County 1 test on Thursday, October 10. Tamaqua will face a Golden Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (Coal Township, PA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 14-5.
