In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Sage Hill Lightning volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Portola Bulldogs.

The Lightning (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against University (Irvine, CA). The Trojans enter the Pacific Hills challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, University beat Woodbridge (Irvine, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific Hills challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Portola will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 10-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to University (Irvine, CA).
