The Prairie View Buffalos volleyball squad (La Cygne, KS), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Wellsville Eagles (Wellsville, KS)

With the win, Wellsville improves its record to 9-16 on the season. The Eagles travel to Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS) to encounter the Chargers in a Pioneer battle on Tuesday, October 8. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 20-4. Santa Fe Trail won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Anderson County (Garnett, KS)

The Buffalos now own a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Labette County for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. Prairie View will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 0-0 league Fort Scott (Fort Scott, KS). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-17.
