North Carolina High School Volleyball - Swain County over Robbinsville

October 8, 2024: Robbinsville, NC 28771

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) and the host Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC), observed Swain County's volleyball team top Robbinsville by a count of 3-1.

The Maroon Devils (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Andrews (Andrews, NC). The Wildcats enter the Big Smoky Mountain 1A contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Andrews was knocked off by Hayesville (Hayesville, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Black Knights battle the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) in a Big Smoky Mountain 1A contest, on Thursday, October 10. Robbinsville will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record. The Braves enter the contest with a 18-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Murphy (Murphy, NC).
