With the win, Villa Walsh Academy advances its record to 5-9 on the season. The Vikings travel to Vernon (Vernon, NJ) to face the Vikings in a Northwest New Jersey - Freedom test on Wednesday, October 9. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 10-3. Vernon won 2-0 in their recent league test against Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ)

The Wildcats now sport a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morris County Tech for a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. Whippany Park will face a Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ). The Devils record now stands at 7-5.
