California High School Flag Football - Wheatland nudges Gridley

In Wednesday's league match, the host Wheatland Pirates flag football squad scored a close 29-25 triumph over the Gridley Bulldogs.

The Pirates (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Falcons go into the Pioneer Valley League battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Colfax nipped Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA), 54-13, in a league battle.
