The Sanford Spartans edged the visiting Gorham Rams soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Wednesday's league game.
Next, the Spartans face the Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME) in a Class A - South game, on Saturday, October 11. Sanford will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record.
The Rams (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Navigators enter the Class A - South game with a 3-0 record.
