In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Auburn Eagles volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Galax Maroon Tide.

Next up, the Eagles face the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 14. Auburn will attempt to advance on its 14-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 7-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Craig County (New Castle, VA).

The Maroon Tide (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Bears come into the non-league outing with a 5-7 record.
